# Editorial Policy

**Summary:** Listings are based only on published results. No listing can be bought, and every correction is logged.

### Ownership and disclosure

TechAwards Directory is operated by the TechAwards Directory team. The team also provides marketing services to technology companies, some of which may appear in the directory. To manage this:

- Every result, including those of any company we have a business relationship with, must meet the same sourcing standard as all others.
- Inclusion and result levels are never changed for commercial reasons.

### Independence

- We do not accept payment for listings, placement or result changes.
- If sponsored content or advertising is ever added, it will be clearly labeled "Sponsored" and kept separate from award data.
- Award organizers can submit their programs, but submissions go through the same inclusion criteria.

### Accuracy

- Every result links to its source.
- Dates, names and categories follow the organizer's official wording, translated where necessary.
- Updates are shown with a "Last updated" date on each page.

### AI and automation

We may use software tools to help collect and format data. Every award profile and result is reviewed by an editor before it is published.
