Golden Kitty Awards 2024: archive briefing on developer, AI and design tools

Recorded results

Cursor is recorded under Product of the Year, while the other entries cover Developer Tools, AI Model, AI for Audio, AI Hardware and Design Tools. The breadth of those labels makes a product-by-product reading more informative than treating all six results as a single league table for software tools. 1

Reading the recognition

The award programme is associated with Product Hunt and classified as Public vote in the directory. That context belongs beside the recognition when readers discuss how a result was obtained. It should not be substituted for another programme’s jury process or used to imply a technical benchmark between unrelated products.

Programme and coverage

Product names and versions also belong to their recorded edition. In particular, the Claude 3 entry is an AI Model result from 2024, and the recognition should remain attached to that named version. Newer products or later company achievements need separate records and sources. 1

Coverage is limited to the results cited in this article. The result table retains the published level, category and product wording, with a numbered source for each entry. Follow the related programme and company pages for the directory’s wider recorded coverage.
